AP - With more than 8 feet of snow already coating the ground, it wasn't good news for this winter-weary region when the blue sky turned gray Saturday, signaling another intense snow squall was about to dump some more.

I saw one picture where the house was completely under snow. All that could be seen was the peak of the roof. That's scary. I really feel for all those trapped in their homes right now.

Dang how can people live in snow like that! What about spring time? Isn't there massive flooding from all that melting snow? It certaintly has been a crazy winter.

wow...I live in New England and have never seen anything close to 8 feet of snow on the ground. That "lake-effect" seems rather unpredictable.
