Unreal Weather
Okay here we are at the end of November, beginning of December and in Toronto, Canada where there is usually snow by end of October we are having the most unusual weather I have ever seen.
The temperatures here for the last few days and for the rest of this week are in the double digits and I don't mean 16-17 degrees (Farenheit) I mean 50-60 degrees which is double digits celsius.
It's very unreal and will be like this into the beginning of December. I don't know about anyone else but I could take this weather right through to the end of March... WISHFUL THINKING.

Tornadoes in England???
Tornadoes tear across Britain
September 24, 2007 -- Tornadoes rip across southern and central Britain, weather officials say; Farnborough, Luton, Nuneaton and Northampton affected; The Met Office said weather conditions are conducive to tornadoes
Quote:
Tornadoes ripped across southern and central Britain on Monday, tearing tiles off roofs and uprooting trees, Meteorological officals said. Farnborough in Hampshire, Luton in Bedfordshire, Nuneaton in the West Midlands, and Northampton were among the affected areas, the UK Press Association reported.
In Farnborough, 20 homes were hit by a tornado, which pulled a roof off a garage and uprooted trees, firefighters said. At around 0645 GMT a tornado tore through Luton, north of London, ripping up gardens and roof tiles. A tornado hit Northampton just before 0600 GMT, uprooting trees and causing chaos on the roads, the Northampton Chronicle and Echo reported.
A spokeswoman for the UK's Meteorological Office said weather conditions at the time of the storms were conducive to tornadoes. "The weather system that we are going through at the moment -- very windy with heavy rain -- is traveling across the country," she told the Press Association.

Wow... Unenviable situation for Britishers, but there is no danger of that For Lithuanians. I hate tornadoes, they can make big harm.

It's been a warm winter in S. Florida except for a very few cold days. That is kind of unusual as we usually get much more cold days than warm days in the winter. It was 89 here the other day, then went down to 39 and now it's back in the 80's again.

Emma on a tear...
Deadly storm 'Emma' slams Europe
Sat March 1, 2008 - Storm dubbed "Emma" slams into Europe, killing at least two people; Man dies in western Germany when tree falls on his car; Man on motorbike dies when he is blown into oncoming traffic; German authorities have urged residents to stay indoors
Quote:
A storm dubbed "Emma" slammed into Europe Saturday with high winds and heavy rain, killing at least two people, authorities said. A man died near the western German town of Wissen early Saturday when a tree toppled by the storm fell on the car he was riding in, Wissen police told CNN.
The man was in a group of four people driving home from work when they encountered a tree in the road. As they were turning around, the other tree fell on the car. None of the other men were injured. In Oberpfaffenhofen, in Bavaria, Germany, a car struck and killed a 72-year-old man who was riding a motorbike, after a gust of wind blew the man into the wrong side of the road, police spokesman Wolgang Goergmaier said.
In a separate incident in Bavaria, a wind gust pushed a tour bus off the road, sending the vehicle into a ditch. It rolled over, injuring five people, one of whom was hospitalized, Goergmaier said. Also in Germany, a train conductor was injured when a high-speed train, the Inter City Express, struck a toppled tree, according to Martin Walden, spokesman for Deutsche Bahn rail service.
