I never buy on Sedo or Afternic. Mainly because these sites are paid, and this puts the price of the domains higher. I also agree many domains are over-priced there.
I ever bought a few domains via sitepoint.com, but I don't do that anymore. If I buy domains, i'ld do that via free sites - like namepros!

I would never buy from either. Prices can be WAY overpriced. Thousands and thousands of dollars for a name is not in my budget.

Luckily though, everyone doesn't agree with me. As long as others buy names from Afternic and Sedo (especially if I own them), I'll be happy.

No. I hate auctions. Also, the prices on Sedo, etc. are generally through the roof compared to something like NamePros.

domaintools.com is a great place to find information on where to buy any domains. It also offers whois and other free services

Nope. I can't afford to anyway and most of the domains there are very overpriced and I probably won't earn as much.
