I usually deal with all domains, since I help people make their website and usually register a domain for them.

Just like with anything I invest in, I think being diversified covers all bases.
Names to park, names to develope, and names to flip. Beyond this is the types of names, and their extentions. .coms, .mobis, .us etc., Poker is an example of how a law can affect income. For anyone who had ALL there names in this category suffered a huge loss.

I had wondered how does one transition from ppc sites to developing? Problem is I'm not a web designer---so the learning curve is pretty big right now

I only buy domains that I plan on developing. I have a few that I bought a while ago because they had a bit of traffic on them though.

I deal with cheap and short domains. I look for doing my own website, for that reason, I don't even search big number of PR or anything else.

I deal with mainly arcade names. I love building arcade sites because they always bring in lots of revenue. My last one sold for $1000!

I am currently looking for cheap LLLL.com domains, I think these will increase in value once all of them are already registered.
