I find Sims pet good but not as much as Sims 2. I prefer socialising with people more than animals though.

I played a lot of sims before I got a job. This expansion set is very nice because I always wanted to have a virtual pet.

I haven't played Sim 2: Pets, but for the people who like Sims, I imagine it's a pretty cool addition. After all, a lot of people consider pets as part of the family, so why not in the virtual world? While Sims never really appealed to me, I did used to have Catz and it was kind of a cool simulation of real cats.
