See why so many die each year just so you can enjoy some crab legs.

Rumors implying that crabs are smarter than the creatures on the boats may not be entirely correct, some say. But really, who cares? I thought USMC helicopter pilots had a more dangerous job than those guys trying to outsmart crabs. And so do convenient store employees.
But the # 1 most dangerous job: Mining Coal For Any Communist Country.

The world's most dangerous job: mining coal in China | FP Passport
Forget "Deadliest Catch," the Discovery Channel show about the peril of being an Alaskan king crab fisherman. The most dangerous job in the world has to be mining coal in China. Last year alone, 4,746 miners were killed in China, according to state figures.
Stop and think about that for a second. That's about 1,100 more deaths than the U.S. military has incurred in five years of fighting in Iraq.

The figures here are a bit outdated, but the job hasn't changed.
