My two nieces absolutely love this movie. They have memorized the songs and pretty much quote the movie from beginning to end. They have any magazine related to Zac Efron and for Christmas I got each of them HS Musical T-shirts. Good idea for them to go ahead with HSM2, since it has really become such a huge success.

My 7 year old loved this movie and loves the songs. The tickets for the live show sold like "hot cakes". I think High School Musical will be a real hit as the first was. It was a good family type movie.

I agree, HSM2 is going to be a hit - hopefully it won't be a dud, like most sequels are. I don't think that is going to matter to the kiddos though, as long as the originals are still in the next one. That's all they really care about.
