Has anyone tried the Jenny Craig program? The food is actually a lot better than you would think it would be. I started the program last August and lost 33 pounds. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking to shed a few pounds.

Whoa, 33 pounds !
If I knew about such a program 3 months ago I would have definitely made use out of it !
I've already lost about 18 pounds though, and it would be useless now to change my diet plan..

Great job Crystal!! I've been thinking of joining Jenny Craig too..Look at Kirstie Alley...holy moly she looks incredible. I've got my 20th HS reunion coming up this year so I want to lose at least 20 pounds.

Crystal, do you have to keep buying the food to be successful?

How over weight do you have to be to benefit from Jenny Craig? I would like to lose 10lbs, but I'm not sure if that is worth the amount of money it would cost me for Jenny Craig.

No, Jenny Craig is definitely not worth it. There is a program called Commit2Fit that you should try. go to www.livealifeyouluv.com, and email me so I can tell you about it. agnelsie@yahoo.com

You should. But honestly, we've been too broke for the last month to be able to afford it. I learned enough from Jenny craig to be able to survive on store foods (lean cuisine, healthy choice, weight watchers, smart ones, south beach, lean pockets.... you can find good sales and use coupons). Now that we're financially back on track, I'll be returning to Jenny craig. I've now lost 37 pounds.

I'm not sure I would have gone that route if I had only had 10 pounds to lose. But if you're struggling with the 10 pound, then definitely give Jenny Craig a try. It's not cheap... but if it gets you the results then it's definitely worth it, don't you think?

Well, before you spend more money on Jenny Craig, go to www.livealifeyouluv.com and check that out. I lost my last 10lbs. with this.

Thanks for the info, but I cannot take supplements. I've got many health issues, and take a lot of medication. I cannot add diet pills to the list. Jenny Craig just works with balanced meals and snacks without the use of drugs.

The good thing is that they're not drugs. They are vitamins... a friend of mine was able to get off her blood pressure medicine after being on it for 6 years! One of my clients was able to regulate his blood sugar and stop the Diabetic medications. I don't believe we should be on medications forever, and by giving your body the nutrition it needs...with good vitamins... you don't have to be a slave to medications

I've got to stick with what's been working for me. I'd never dream of not taking my medication unless the doctor told me to stop taking it. I almost died three years ago, the medications I take now keep me from getting to that point again. There are some conditions that cannot be cured, that can be controlled by medication. You SHOULD be on those forever, they're what keeps you going.

I cannot take supplements either and don't wish to start. It's all about portion control and well balanced meals. Obviously stay away from the "bad stuff". I commend you Crystal to sticking to it and losing the 37 pounds. I have a hard time with sticking to anything!!
